Jet Tracker vs JETNET: which aviation data platform to choose?
For the Brazilian market, Jet Tracker: the ANAC registry read every day, the real owner via Receita Federal corporate ownership records, the RBAC 135 fleet, Portuguese and public pricing. JETNET is a global database, founded in 1988, that does not publish pricing.

Anyone comparing business aviation data platforms ends up at JETNET, one of the most cited names in the industry. For anyone working the Brazilian market, the answer is Jet Tracker, and this page shows why. The comparison of the two global databases is in another text, JETNET, AMSTAT or Jet Tracker.
Jet Tracker reads the ANAC registry (Brazil's civil aviation authority) every day, cross-references each aircraft with the corporate ownership records of the Receita Federal (Brazil's federal revenue service) to reach the real owner, identifies the RBAC 135 fleet registration by registration, and brings flights, listings from multiple portals and operating cost together in one place. All in Portuguese, with public pricing, a 7-day trial with no card and an AI connector. JETNET is a global database, founded in 1988, that does not publish pricing: access goes through a demo request.
Everything here about JETNET comes from its official website, accessed on Oct 12, 2026. It does not publish pricing, and that is why no JETNET price appears in this text.

Why Jet Tracker for the Brazilian market
- The Brazilian registry as the core. The RAB is synced every day, with status, operator, lien and CVA (Airworthiness Verification Certificate) validity per registration. The free RAB lookup answers one tail at a time; Jet Tracker gives you the whole picture.
- Real owner behind the CNPJ. Starter cross-references the aircraft with the Receita Federal corporate ownership records. In Brazil, the aircraft is rarely in the CNPJ of whoever makes the decisions.
- Air charter classified. The RBAC 135 fleet comes identified registration by registration.
- Public pricing and a free way in. The catalog is open, the Starter trial lasts 7 days with no card and the plan table is on the pricing page. For an independent professional or a small repair station, knowing the price before talking to sales counts.
- Portuguese, in reais, with local cost and market. Operating cost, listings and the read of the Brazilian market in one place.
- Data for AI agents. Jet Copilot answers on the site, and the MCP and API take the database to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and n8n.
What JETNET is, in its own website's words
JETNET describes itself as a provider of business aviation market intelligence, founded in 1988 in Utica, in New York state. The opening numbers on the home page are 170,000 airframes researched, 860 aircraft models, 670,000 transactions, 1.2 million FAA documents, 300,000 verified contacts and 25,000 valuations a week.
The core product is the Marketplace: listings, transaction history, valuation (Smart Valuation), the Aircraft Prospector, events and intelligence reports. The Values module, sold separately, brings reported sale prices, current and historical, at the serial-number level. JETNET also says it blends primary research (with owners, chief pilots, operators and service staff) with automated data ingestion, algorithms and human curation.
On Jul 20, 2026 the company formally launched JIQ, a market analysis platform that brings together data from JETNET itself, from WINGX (usage and flight activity) and from ADS-B Exchange (real-time signals). According to the announcement, it is free for industry professionals upon registration. The Marketplace also has an AI chat that answers only from JETNET's verified database, and integrations with Microsoft Teams, Slack and WhatsApp, with Claude listed as "coming soon."
What about Brazil? What JETNET sees
It would be wrong to say JETNET does not cover Brazil. A June 2025 study by Airbus Corporate Jets, done with JETNET data from February 2025, counted 1,103 business jets in Brazil, the second-largest fleet in the world after the United States (15,492).
Jet Tracker, as of Oct 12, 2026, counts 1,168 operational business jets in the RAB. The two numbers are not comparable line by line: the date is different and Airbus does not define what counts as "business jets." What the cross-check shows is that JETNET sees the country's jet fleet.
What the public JETNET pages accessed on Oct 12, 2026 do not describe is the layer that defines Brazil: the RAB origin of the data, the Receita Federal corporate ownership records and the RBAC 135 classification. The word Brazil does not appear on the home page or in the JIQ announcement. That does not prove JETNET lacks these fields; it proves that, from the outside, there is no way to know. On Jet Tracker, that layer is the core of the product, and you can check it with your own list of registrations during the 7-day trial.
How to choose
- Business in Brazil (broker, repair station, operator, insurer, lender): Jet Tracker. The data that decides things here is the RAB, the real owner and the local market, and the 7-day trial asks for no card.
- Business between countries: Jet Tracker for the Brazilian end, with the RAB fleet and the real owner of each registration.
- Manufacturer or large institution: Jet Tracker's Enterprise plan (high-volume API, unlimited users, integrations) is on request.

Frequently asked questions
Does JETNET cover the Brazilian fleet?
There is evidence it does: a June 2025 Airbus Corporate Jets study, done with JETNET data from February 2025, counted 1,103 business jets in Brazil. What the public JETNET pages accessed on Oct 12, 2026 do not describe is the RAB origin of the data, the Receita Federal corporate ownership records and the RBAC 135 classification. At Jet Tracker, those three layers are the core of the product.
How much does JETNET cost?
JETNET's website does not publish pricing: access goes through a demo request (accessed Oct 12, 2026). Jet Tracker publishes its plans on the pricing page.
Does JETNET have a free trial?
The site shows a "Start Free Trial" button that leads to the demo request, and the Marketplace page carries "Request a Trial." JIQ, the market analysis platform launched on Jul 20, 2026, is free for industry professionals upon registration, according to JETNET's announcement. At Jet Tracker, anyone who creates an account gets 7 days of full Starter, no card.
Does Jet Tracker show the price of aircraft for sale?
It shows the asking price of public listings, always identified as an asking price, alongside operating cost and a read of the Brazilian market. An ownership change in the RAB appears as an ownership movement, not as a sale.
Which one to choose to work in Brazil?
Jet Tracker. The data that decides things in Brazil is the ANAC registry, the real owner via corporate ownership records and the local market, and that is the core of the product, in Portuguese, with public pricing and 7 days of Starter with no card. Those who also trade between countries use Jet Tracker for the Brazilian end.
